The association and the school are in contact with other educational, scientific and cultural institutions, international organizations in Alsace: with cultural centers, local associations, as well as with Bulgarian schools and associations in France, Germany, Switzerland, Luxembourg. The Strasbourg municipality’s support for Education and the Rotterdam Social and Cultural Center in Strasbourg is particularly important. The school receives the support of the Municipality for the hiring of training rooms, for the realization of a number of cultural initiatives. We also have regular and constructive contacts with the Bulgarian Church Community in Strasbourg in organizing celebrations to preserve Bulgarian spirituality and traditions. We should also note the long-standing cooperation with the Department of Slavistics at Strasbourg University. The Association supported the International Scientific Conference “Writing Another Generated by Women”, which took place on 11 and 12 December 2011 at Strasbourg University. The materials were published in a scientific volume in the series Des idées et des femmes (Heldmattan, elsewhere in a female genre: The Slavic World, compiled by Evelyn Englerlein and Lidia Mihova, ed. L’Harmattan, Paris, 2013, 280 pp. EAN 782336291253). Members of the Association participated in the organization of a round table on the occasion of the five-year anniversary of the accession of Bulgaria to the European Union with the participation of Bulgarian MEPs, which took place on April 18 from 15 to 18.30 in a hall in the central building of Strasbourg University. The meeting was specially supported by the Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to France – Mr. Marin Raykov. et In November 2013, at the Strasbourg University, with the assistance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria, was held an international scientific conference devoted to the 70th anniversary of the rescue of Bulgarian Jews (Juifs sauves, juifs déportés: Le Shoah en Bulgarie et dans les authores Etats alliés de l’Allemagne, and the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the plans for the deportation of Juveniles of Bulgaria and the Camps of the Dead, MISHA, Salle de Conférence, Strasbourg University, 13 November 2013). The event was organized by the Department of Slavonic Studies (from Emilia Kustova, specialist in Russian Civilization), by the Department of Hebrew and Jewish Civilization (M. Shanhov, Director) and by the Association (Associate Professor L. Mihova, Associate Professor at the Institute of Literature at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and director of the Bulgarian school in Strasbourg). In 2018, the Association, together with the Department of Slavonic Studies at the Strasbourg University and with the support of the Permanent Representation of Bulgaria to the Council of Europe, participated in the organization and holding of an international scientific round table entitled “Europe on the Way of Solidarity. Population Movements in Central and Eastern Europe in the 20th Century “/” L’Europe sur les chemins de la solidarité. Mouvements de la population en Europe centrale et orientale au XX e siècle “, May 25, 2018, MISHA – 5, Salle de conférence, Strasbourg University). Close cooperation with the Permanent Representation of Bulgaria to the Council of Europe is very close and successful. We organized and are currently organizing different cultural events, such as in the year of the Presidency of Bulgaria of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe – 2016 and also during the Presidency of Bulgaria of the Council of the European Union in 2018. They actively participated and willingly the students from the Bulgarian school, which provoked and increased their interest in the Bulgarian language and spiritual values, to the Bulgarian culture and history.
