We would like to inform you that it begins to enroll children and students for extra-curricular activities “ART – WORKING” for children and pupils from 3 to 11 years old, headed by Mrs. Silvia Domuschieva.
The purpose of this extracurricular activity is to enrich the Bulgarian language knowledge of children and students, to familiarize them with Bulgarian folklore and modern culture and to contribute to the preservation of Bulgarian traditions and customs.
Thematic activities are planned for:
– plastic art;
– home-construction technical and artistic activities (including waste materials);
– exploration and reproduction of folklore customs and rituals.
Students and children will have the opportunity to learn about the diversity of Bulgarian traditions from different folklore districts, to know and reproduce folklore customs and rituals (Christmas, Lazarus, New Year’s Festive Customs, Kuker’s Holidays, Tsvetnica, etc.). They will study and practice different techniques of decorative art, preparing cards, martenitsas, masks, puppets puppets and more.
It is planned to organize two exhibitions annually, as well as presenting the studied folklore customs and rituals during the school celebrations and other events open to the Strasbourg community.
Two hours of work can start in the beginning of October if there are enough people willing to do so. It will be held on Saturday afternoon, in a hall provided by the Rotterdam Cultural and Social Center at: 42 Rue d’Ypres 67000 Strabourg. Our Hall is available from 13:30 to 17:00. The exact hours of the exercises will be further specified by the subscribers.
